Safety LockTM Product Line
Safety LocksTM, patent pending, are a companion product for SPS's revolutionary Safety BumpTM product line. Safety LocksTM replace unreliable Velcro straps and hard-to-operate locking cam lock ears with an easy to install and easy to remove, heavy duty ‘clip’ which clicks into place over the ears.

Safety LockTM eliminates the chance for cam lock ears to open up during deliveries due to pulsing or vibration. Spills due to cam lock ears opening up have plagued the industry for years. Velcro straps tear and wear out against the edges of the ears and, like various other ear locking solutions, are difficult to use with gloved hands.

Safety LocksTM are made from a rugged material for long life and work with industry standard female hose fittings with split rings produced by leading fitting manufacturers. SPS recommends that Safety LocksTM be tethered to either the hose fitting spilit ring or to a Safety BumpTM to prevent loss and to allow the cable to be used to easily remove the Safety LockTM.

Safety LockTM are now available for three inch female fittings with four inch models to be available in March of 2008. Safety LocksTM for two inch and other size fittings will be released later in 2008. Safety Locks are Made in the U.S.A.
